Dr. Madhu Rao is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), practicing at I-Spine Ortho and Sports Care in Mishawaka.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s College in Orchard Lake, Michigan, and went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing.
Dr. Rao completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan, where he gained broad surgical training. His specialized training includes adult reconstructive surgery and hand and microsurgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti; pediatric orthopedics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center; and orthopedic trauma surgery at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas.
With a comprehensive background in both surgical and non-surgical care, Dr. Rao brings deep expertise and a commitment to personalized, patient-focused orthopedic treatment.
